Super Falcons forward Asisat Oshoala has stated that the most important for the team in the upcoming Women’s African Cup of Nations is to secure a ticket to the next year’s FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Oshoala who is one nineteen players currently in the team’s camp that was officially opened in Abuja ahead of the tournament in Morocco, told NFF TV in an interview that priority of the team is to qualify for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup billed for Australia and New Zealand later in the year.

“I think the most important thing is to make sure we get a ticket to the world cup. That’s our primary aim to qualify for the world cup and also possibly to win the tournament is one of the goals we have going into this tournament as a team and personally as an individual I just want to be better than the last tournament that’s all,” she said.
