Enyimba FC striker, Victor Mboama has revealed his excitement following his return to the team with a hatrick against Kwara United after a brief outing with the Super Eagles.
Mboama was included in the Super Eagles international friendlies both against Mexico and Ecuador but was dropped for the final AFCON squad, he didn’t let the disappointment down him as he responded with three goals to top the NPFL highest goal scorer chart.
Reacting after the victory, he said, “Its a good thing to come back to the team this way after national assignment, but it’s never by my making but by God’s grace and mercy.”
“I thank my teammates, the management and fans for their love and support. Lord, I’ll never be ungrateful. Thank you Lord for the hattrick.”
With 33 games played, George Fidelis side are now placed 4th on the NPFL log on 51 points.
The big win puts the Aba based club firmly in contention for continental football ticket with ahead of thier clash against Katsina United.
