Captain of the Flying Antelopes, Tope Olusesi has come out to tell the club’s fans that Rangers International of Enugu will this weekend play to redeem thier image as the team has fired below power in recent games.
Enugu Rangers will be filing out against Nasarawa United in the Nigeria Professional Football League in what is called day 33 encounter.
Though the game will be played on a neutral ground but it will be nothing short of a very difficult game as paper has it that Rangers will be playing away from home and Nasarawa United being the host. Nasarawa has been playing in Jos for some time now since renovation works in Lafia City Stadium is ongoing.
The right full back told the club’s media that he acknowledges how important the game is and definitely will be a tough one but he and his teammates are ready for the uphill task. “I believe we are in Jos for business and this will be displayed on the pitch on Sunday. We don’t want what happened to us in our last visit to Jos so we are here to redeem our image”
At the end of game day 32, Rangers International occupied 3rd position on the log with 51 points. Nasarawa United on the other hand occupy the 11th position with an accumulative points of 41.
