It has been a celebration galour accomplished with a victorious heat between Kogi United FC in their previous match against Bako FC as they trash the away side 3-1 in the second semi final of the ongoing kogi state Aiteo cup at the confluence stadium Lokoja kogi state.

The home side who were striving hard due to the limited number of teams that registered didn’t give their opponents any space throughout the encounter as the visiting club also came with a master game plan to disbalance the kogi united FC.
Usman Kasim the former youth team game changer who was recently promoted to the main team put his team ahead in the 20th minutes after coming close to scoring in several occasions.
On the other hand, Engineer Bako told the men of the press that after their quater-final triumphed over okene based Zulu FC, they strive hard to surprise the home side, as he gave assessment of themselves.
However the Bako boys wastefully lost several chances that could have levelled up the score line as the first half ended in 1-0 in favour of the home side.
The second half kick started with a high pressure coming from both clubs as the kogi united kept pressing forward assiduously to increase their goals which actually came through.
In the 59th minutes of play, game changer Usman Kasim sent a pass to Abubakar Sanni Moriki tactically sent the ball in a lower pace straight inside the goal post.

While speaking with men of the press after the match, coach of Bako FC, Engineer Bako said;
” I commend my boys for putting a great fight, not considering our physical fitness as a result of the previous match”

In same spirit of victory, the Technical Adviser of Kogi United FC coach Folabi Ojekunle said;
” I salute the zeal, determination and doggedness displayed by Bako FC”
” They showed some good flashes and Made daring runs that actually gave them a consolation goal. He concluded.’
Kogi united FC will on Wednesday 15 June 2022 battle with federal medical center FC to determine who will lift this year’s edition of the game.
