KG Sports Academy teenage sensation Marvelous Otutu has been recalled to take part in the Stephen Keshi National U17 Tournament due to take place from 3rd June to 12th June 2022 in Benin
The 17 year old versatile player joins was part of the bronze winning team in 2021 Edition when he featured for Excellent Football Academy U17 at the Tournament.
Marvelous has been an integral part of KG Sports Academy since joining the Pride of Agbor since 2021. He was part of the KG Squad playing the Ika Grassroots League and also played in the Bet9ja-DFA State league.
The versatile player can fit in any role from Defense to midfield and is looking forward to the U17 Tournament.
“I am looking forward to teaming up again with Excellent Academy to play in the National U17 Tournament and hope we can go better than we did last year.” The Young Star said moments after arriving Ughelli to join the squad for Benin.
Meanwhile another KG sports Player, Amos Edoh was also called up to join the team, the 15 year old Left Back was spotted playing in the Bet9ja-DFA and was handed an invitation to join the Excellent Academy for the National U17 Tournament.
” Its a good chance for me to develop, I hope i can contribute to the team winning the tournament this time” Amos stated.
KG Sports Academy Director Dr. Ken Gadaffi lauded the invitation and commended Excellent CEO Coach Onome Johnbull for giving young talents opportunity to show themselves.
“This is great and thanks to Coach Onome of Excellent Club’, this gesture is in relation to our partnership to help develop talents and l am optimistic that marvelous and Amos will Excel with Excellent,” Dr Ken Gadaffi Stated.
The Stephen Keshi National U17 Tournament will hold from 3-9 June in Benin and the best talents will be invited to the National U17 Golden Eaglets team.
