NNL: Ikorodu City Win, Sporting Lagos, Vandrezzer Lose Away

Matchday 15 in the Nigeria National League (NNL) 2022 season saw three Lagos teams play on the road which produced mixed results as only one could pull a win away.

Vandrezzer played host to Ibom Youths at the Ikot Ekpene Township Stadium, a venue that formerly played home to the Lagos side before they relocated from Akwa Ibom.

They however couldn’t pick up a win or a point as a first half strike condemned them to a loss on the road.

Sporting Lagos, also on the road lost to Abia Comets courtesy a 48th minute penalty from Williams to send the Lagos side back home empty.

It was however a different case for Ikorodu City who picked points on the road. The side traveled to Delta to face J. Atete on a wet surface as it rained all day and picked up a 2-1 win, their first win on the road all season.
