Super Eagles international and Rangers star, Joe Aribo has played down doubts over his future at Ibrox as he approaches the final year of his deal with clubs looking to pounce on the situation to secure his signing after eye-catching performances.
Aribo is among a host of first-team stars who will become free agents in the summer of 2023.
The Nigeria international has reportedly attracted interest from the English Premier League sides including Aston Villa who are being coached by ex-Rangers man, Steven Gerrard who is looking forward to reuniting with the highly-rated midfielder.
That could present a major decision for sporting director Ross Wilson as he runs the risk of Aribo leaving the Scottish Premiership for nothing next summer.
However, the 25-year-old insists he is in no rush to walk away from Rangers this summer.
When asked about his future, Aribo said “I am not aware of any interest, I just try to focus and play my football and that’s all that matters to me.”
“Since I joined Rangers, it has been a beautiful relationship, I am very happy here, enjoying every single moment.”
“I haven’t considered leaving and I hope to be here for more years to come,” he clarified.
