Chairman Delta State Football Association,DFA, Kenneth Nwaomucha and his board members this Thursday paid a courtesy visit to the General Manager, GM Delta Broadcasting Services, Frank Osabohien to tighten bond and appreciation of his contribution to sports.
” We just finished the 2022 draws of the DFA Cup and your enormous media support as General Manager of the Delta State Broadcasting service, DBS, Asaba, cannot be left unnoticed which as a matter of fact instigate myself and my board to pay a courtesy visit of appreciation”.
After making a formal introduction of the visiting crew, former Chairman, Delta state chapter of the Sports writers Association of Nigeria, SWAN, Harrison Ocholor, who doubles as the head of marketing, DFA and chairman 2022 Asaba Airport Company DFA Cup highlighted the achievement of the board in less than 1year and 6 month which surpasses her predecessor four years term in office.
“Before we came into office we knew the problem facing Delta state football, hence we don’t need to attribute blame to anybody rather we choice to tackle the blame as it is”.
Ken Nwaomucha said organizing the first Delta state stakeholders summit and reviving the state league plus upgrading the FA cup and creating an enabling environment to attract sponsorship cannot be measured with the past board.
The visitation was climax with the presentation of the sponsor’s kits of the 2022 Asaba Airport Company DFA Cup.
While receiving the kits, frank Osabohien, thanked the members of the state DFA and promised to improve the relationship.
Those who were present at the event are former Nigeria Referee Association,NRA, Vice President, Dave Igho, SWAN Chairman, Delta state chapter, Azuka Chiameka, Ceo Topsportsafrik and Chairman, Delta state chapter Nigeria Referee Association, Dimas Ejoh.
The opening game of the Delta state FA Cup is billed to kick off on Thursday 26th May at the Sapele township stadium between Fc planners against Lisbon Fc.
