Nigeria Cricket Federation (NCF) general manager, Emeka Igwilo is still basking in the euphoria of the body’s development seminar for coaches and umpires, which described as a very successful exercise.
The cricket buff said he and other officials of the NCF are happy with the turn out and response of all who attended the programme last weekend, which he said was another effort on the federation’s part to further promote the sport.
Igwilo stated further in an interview with sports247.ng that the number of participants who attended the seminar far exceeded expectations, and enthused that it is a sign of better things to come.
“We are happy with the outcome of our seminar last weekend,” Igwilo began.
“It was a very successful programme, which went well beyond what we expected and planned for.
“It is a sign of good things to come for Nigerian cricket in the coming days and for the board of the NCF.”
