Members of Lagos Legends Club, in Nigeria and diaspora, have sent a congratulatory message to the President and CEO of the NNL side, Vandrezzer Football Club, Joe Udofia on the occasion of his 50th birthday.
In the message signed by the convener of LLC, Waidi Akanni, on behalf of the group of ex-footballers who once plied their trades in Lagos, described the attainment of the golden age of 50 years by Udofia, who also doubles as President/CEO of Vandrezzer Group of Companies as a testament of God’s grace and love in the life of the oil business magnate, philanthropist, and sportspreneur.
“We praise and thank God for graciously granting our friend and brother the opportunity to attain the golden age,” Akanni remarked.
“This is a great and detribalized Nigerian businessman and sportspreneur, who has continued to use his God-given wealth and resources to develop and encourage the youths in various fields of human endeavors, and particularly, football, to achieve their goals, and of course, to the benefits of Nigeria.
“Lagos Legends Club cannot forget in a hurry, his immense contributions to the success of our inaugural get-together and football fanfare, held last year.
“While we continue to appreciate him, we say a big happy birthday to him. We pray also that God in His infinite mercies continues to guide, guard, and bless him to the benefits of humanity and glory of God,” Akanni, an ex-Nigeria international and former Chairman of Lagos FA, added.
