It was a dawn of a beautiful Thursday morning for Babington Macaulay at the Lagos Anglican Schools and Igbobi College as they put to an end the 8th inter-collegiate sports fiesta Bariga 2022 at the CMS GRAMMAR SCHOOL complex Bariga Lagos state.
The inter-school competition came to an end with lots of activities such as instrumental display by the CMS band, choreography performance amongst others.
Dignitaries from Various colleges were in attendance, among them is Mrs. Adenike Okudoh, the chairman of LASMAB.

Students from all the participating schools were all present to grace the inter-collegiate event.
In an exclusive interview with sport247, the principal of BABINGTON MACAULAY JUNIOR SEMINARY who is also the chairman organizing committee for the Lagos Anglican Schools Management Boys inter-schools athletic competition 2022 Rev. Canon DR. Osunyomi BAMIDELE said;
” I feel great and I also feel good because the preparation started immediately we finished the last edition, just as we have started preparing the next one comes 2024 by the grace of God”
” I am proud of all the students, they are wonderful record holders because it has never happened in the history of this event that a school in the female category will be winning nineteen (19) gold medals. That is record-breaking and we hope to sustain this record for eternity,” he concluded with a smile.
Indeed BABINGTON MACAULAY JUNIOR SEMINARY had an outstanding record-breaking competition with the list of the following medals

2 bronze.
