KG Sports Academy kid Sensation Godsent “Obuseme” Benedict has said he is eagerly looking forward to the start of the Bet9ja-DFA State League. The 17 year old striker who has scored 5 goals in 4 games in Pre Season Friendlies is confident that his Side will do well in the state league.
“I can’t wait for the league to start, we have been training hard and playing matches in preparation for the league, so we are ready to do well by God grace” Godsent said.
The opening match of the Bet9ja-DFA State League will be played at the Agbor Township Stadium on Saturday 12th between Lisbon FC Abraka and Ihuyase FC Agbor while KG Sports will kick off their campaign on Tuesday 15th February at the Agbor Township Stadium against CASI Academy.
“We don’t know much about our opponents but we have been working on ourselves and we will take each game as they come” Says Godsent.
The striker is in great form after scoring a brace against Bright Stars of Ogwashi uku, and a goal each against Flying Rangers of Ughelli, Ihuyase if Agbor and Ultimate Stars of Agbor as KG maintain a 6 games unbeaten run in pre season.
“The goals have been coming for me, I am.not there yet but surely scoring goals brings more confidence and l hope to take the league by storm this season” he said.
