A win that meant Emmydinho finally joins the list of teams to have earned a maximum of 3 points so far in the season, was well-received by not only the players but the team manager as well after an important change in the coaching aspect.
Babatunde Bello, team manager of the club expressed what the win over Broadcity in match week three of the TCC meant to him and the team.
“It’s a good win, the boys knew that they needed to win this one and you could see the intensity they put in from the beginning to the end to show how bad we need the match,” he told Sports247.
Speaking on the change of coach, he said “I don’t have a problem with it. It’s part of the game, after hiring a coach, if results don’t go well he’s free to go. There’s nothing between us and he’s still a personal friend as I still call him daily.”
“The boys knew the importance of the game today, it was a must-win and they knew they were under pressure that’s why they had much intensity,” he added.
