Matchday one of The Creative Championship League saw exciting games in different centers with Dannaz FC picking up all three points with a 1-0 away win over Dino SC, a result that excites coach Akande Fatai.
“I’m pleased, it’s a good start winning away from home. It boils down to what I’ve said about players’ development in the past,” Fatai said. “We needed to improve on some grey areas which we did but there’s still lots of room for improvement,” coach Fatai added.
The team scored as early as the 6th minute through a Precious Emmanuel goal and held on to a winning start even as the coach says the target is just to do well in the league.
“As for the league, we just want to do well,” he said. “Take it a game after the other as it’s a league and other teams will still play and they’re very good teams in the league. We can only keep maintaining consistency in our performance and hopefully at the end of the league we’ll find ourselves in a decent position that we can all be proud of,” he concluded.
