The Annual EARI Football Tournament returns this weekend at Ekuku-Agbor with Opening games to be played on Sunday 26th 2021 Boxing Day.
With Hundreds of Ekuku-Agbor Born Sons and daughters returning home for the Yuletide Festivities, the Ekuku Agbor Reinnasance initiative sponsored Football Tournament is set to ignite the Ika South Town with the opening fixtures between
Ogbe-egbudu/ Ogbe Isogban and Obioma at the 2pm Kick off.
Oroma will take on Idumu- Uzugbo/ Idumu -Ishiogi at the 4pm Kick off.
On Monday Ogbe- Agidi vs Agbor-nta will play to determine which two teams will progress to the semi finals
The Tournament is set to end on 30th of December with the Uboh of Ekuku Agbor Ezehamosi Solomon as the Royal Father of the day.
EARI Cordinator Hon Mrs Ifeoma Agborma the executive Assistant to Governor Okoya is the chief Host.
According to the Media Director of the EARI Sports Committee Dr Ken Gadaffi, “The winner of the Tournament will receive a grand trophy along with cash prize same for the runners up and 3rd place teams.” the Erudite sports administrator stated”
“All Participating teams will also be kitted by the EARI” he added.
