The game was unfavorable for the visiting side as they clash with Box2Box FC boys losing to a one-nil away defeat.
The goal agitation from the losing side was so high but they could not concede any goal, rather most of their attempt were ruled out by the referee which led to the disappointing goal by the home team.
In an interview with sport 247, Coach Jerry Azubike expresses his disappointment saying that;
” From the first half of the match the game was fair, but immediately the second half kick starts the referee became biased towards the game, overlooking some of the fowls committed which led to an infringed goal against my team”.
” I tried to recall the attention of the referee but the linesman spoke to me arrogantly. I felt so disappointed because fusion football is a professional league and not an agent game so it should be officiated in a professional manner he added.
” I believe in my team because my players played very well if not for the infringement that led to the defeating goal, but I assure you we will do better he concluded.
Charlesann FC are in the 6th position on the league table with 29 points.
