Olatunji Brown Revels After Owu Sportswear Signs Branding Deal With Three Foreign Clubs – “Europe Is The Next Target For Us”

CEO of Owu Sportswear, Olatunji Brown shared more light on his company’s newly signed kitting deal with three Ghanaian clubs.

From what started as admiration and a desire to be involved in sports somewhat, Brown is warming his way into the sports world with Owu’s continued growth.

“We signed branding deals with three clubs in Ghana,” Brown told Sports247. “One of the clubs (Ashanti Gold S.C) is in the Ghana Premier League and the other two are in a lower league.

“To God be the glory, today Owu arrived in Ghana as we kitted our first team outside Nigeria after six years of trying.”

In their debut game with Owu designed kits, Ashanti Gold defeated Techiman Eleven Wonders FC 1-0 away from home on Sunday to open their 2021-22 Ghana Premier League.

Brown added on how it all started. He said: “The idea of Owu Sportswear started like a dream 14 years ago to kick start sportswear branding in Nigeria. When we started, our vision was to be established in Nigeria, Africa and to become a global brand with time. Today that dream is starting to become a reality.

“With what we have been able to achieve in Nigeria, for the very first time we landed in Ghana. We are well accepted there in Ghana. To add to it, we have deals in the Benin Republic already. We want to finalize with the teams we have signed with. Europe is the next goal. We want to thank everyone who believes in us.
