Nigeria’s foremost kit manufacturers Owu Sportswear become new kit suppliers of Ghanaian Premier League club Ashanti Gold S.C.
Owu will provide Ashanti Gold’s first-team kits for the upcoming 2021-22 season after the Ghanaian side ended its partnership with previous kit suppliers iGimel.
The Miners confirmed their tie-up with Owu on their official Facebook page in a statement that reads; “We are delighted to announce that an agreement has been reached with Owu as our new kit sponsors.”
Founded by Olatunji Brown fourteen years ago, Owu is Nigeria’s leading sportswear branding company. Owu have found success in the apparel sector in Nigeria and continues to gain ground around Africa.
Owu lists current Nigeria Professional Football League champions Akwa United and Rivers Angels FC of Port Harcourt, Nigeria’s representative to the Total Energies CAF Women’s Champions League amongst its high-profile partners. The deal to partner with Ghana’s Ashanti Gold further highlights the company’s growth outside the shores of Nigeria.
