Villarreal of Spain winger, Samuel Chukwueze has admitted that he must work much harder in order to keep his position in his team and continue making waves in La Liga.
Sports247.ng reports that Chukwueze has already created many marks and has three goals to his name in all competitions, during his debut senior season with The Yellow Submarine, but the youngster is not getting carried away.
Rather than rest on his oars, the Chile 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup revelation wants to keep working hard, in order to excel under the new coach at Villarreal.
Chukwuezze added that he wants to continue living the dream of starring for the Super Eagles and become the next Nigerian player to be named African Footballer of The Year.
The 19-year-old winger admitted: “La Liga is a very difficult league and I am playing to be playing among the best.
“It makes you to work hard and to improve your game, (and) I am happy with my football at Villarreal.
“To play for the Super Eagles is a dream come true, but, the main dream (for me) is to become a regular player in the team.
“(I want to) help Nigeria to win many games in the future, (and) my personal ambition is to win African Footballer of the Year.”
