Team Manager of Bucknor Football Club, Adebowale Habeeb Abidemi has warned his opponents, Leyenda Standard Football Club to prepare for war when the two teams clash in week two of the ongoing Alimosho football coaches council league.
The pulsating clash would hold on Friday at Ansar Un- Deen secondary School, Ayobo, Ipaja, Alimosho, Lagos.
Bucknor lost 0-1 to Kedge Sports FC at an away match in week one of the league and their next match against Leyenda would be tough considering the fact that a defeat or draw to Bucknor in Friday tie would put the bottom on the table.
On the other hand, Leyenda FC also lost their first home match and a defeat to them against their opponents would spell doom for them on the table.
Abidemi admitted that the match would be tough for both sides but boasted that his boys are in a good frame of mind to take their opponents to cleaner.
“We are aware that Leyenda lost their first home match and it is going to be a war when both clash because our boys are well motivated and the management has also promised them some incentive if they can win their opponents so it is left for the players to finish the job on the field of play,” he said.
In matches played so far, Flying Wing failed to fly as they played 1-1 with Newtown G FC at their home ground. Kedge Sports recorded 1-0 home win against Bucknor FC, Kedge Sports defeated Iyaloja General United 2-1.
Two matches would be played tomorrow as NISSI host H2U FC, while Flying Wings welcome ECAS FC. On Friday, Newton G FC would travel to keep a date with defending champions, Samjason FC.
