The Super Eagles of Nigeria will battle the Pharaohs of Egypt-the most successful team in the history of the AFCON in the group stage of the 33rd edition of the African biggest soccer fiesta.
Guinea Bissau and Sudan are the other teams in Group D with Nigeria.
Incidentally, Super Eagles Gaffer, Gernot Rohr had stated in his pre-draw interview that he would like his team to avoid Egypt and Ivory Coast in the group stage.
Now, the die is cast and and Rohr and his players must give Nigerians something to celebrate in Cameroon next year – if you understand what I mean.
It will be great to see the Super Eagles win the AFCON in Cameroon.
