KG Sports Foundation has named 25 man squad from the 6 teams that participated in the just-concluded Foundation Cup to form an All-Stars team.
CEO of KG Sports Foundation Dr. Ken Gadaffi revealed that the all-star team has been selected based on merit after 3 weeks of action in a tournament KG Sports Academy emerged as champions after defeating Winners FC 5-3 on penalty shootouts after full time ended 0-0
7 players from champions KG Sports Academy made it to the all-star team while runners-up Winners FC produced 6 players.
4 players was selected Ekuku Agbor United while 3 each from Rainbow FC and Green Rangers
Despite playing the tournament winless, 2 players were selected from Superfly FC to make up the 25 man Squad.
The Squad will be handled by 3 coaches selected from the tournament, Coach Sammy Okonkwo of KG Sports Academy, Coach Matthew and Coach Walter of Rainbow FC, and Green Rangers while Coach Mike Ekeh will serve as Team Manager.
KG Sports Foundation Squad will play back to back matches this weekend
On Saturday, they will face Idunmu Ogalla All-stars and then on Sunday, they will tackle with Big Daddy FC.
