In what was expected to be a really tough game at the Agege Stadium, it was no surprise to see the Stationery Stores and Vandrezzer game produce five goals as both teams stretched each other out.
Ifeanyi Anthony Ihemekwele scored a brace for Stores as they ran out 3-2 winners over the new Lagos-based side Vandrezzer FC and the striker was delighted to have brought out such performance on a crucial day.
“I’m so happy to score twice and help my team win a crucial game against a team that has proven to be a good side and I’m really happy,” the striker said.
“I’m grateful and dedicate the victory and goals to God and my teammates who together we worked so hard to achieve this victory, without them we certainly would not have been here and I’m grateful to them,” he added.
