11 years old football sensation Patrick Adeoluwanimi Akhidenor Solanke has been described as the future of Nigerian football by football aficionados and stargazers of the fortunes of Nigerian football.
Known as Nimi, the kid sensation is gifted with rare skills, confidence, sure-footedness, and uncanny playing abilities that belies his age.
The latest testimonial on the newest kid on the block came from the duo of Super Eagles stars Victor Osimhen and Samuel Chukwueze who were awed by Nimi’s unbelievable talent. The duo were quick to predict a very bright future for the kid sensation, while also advising that his minders ensure he keeps his feet firmly on the ground.
Nimi who has adopted the number 55, started out with Ivory Academy, 7 years ago at the age of four. He later moved to Barcelona Academy and then Kidsport Academy. Presently, Nimi is with Olumo United Academy, the feeder’s team of Olumo United football club.
According to one of the kid’s coaches, “you have seen Messi dribble, Ronaldo play free-kick and the good old Beckham bending it into the net, then this maestro youngster has the combined talent of the trio and we just can’t wait to see Nimi blossom and attain his full potentials,” he enthused confidently.
