Head Coach of Lagos State Football Team who led his team to the National Sports Festival football finals in Edo has lauded the efforts and bravery of the newly promoted side, Liqui Moly has following their NLO 2 triumph.
Coach Adesina, tactician for team Lagos, who came to witness the final game of the NLO2 admitted that it was a good game between both sides who made it into the finals.
“I will give credit especially to Liqui Moly because what I saw was that they were younger than the other team but the game was decided by a penalty shoot-out, the better side won at the end.”
“NLO 2 is to prepare the players from the lowest level to the upper level of which most of these players are young boys trying to transcend to the bigger stage, their performance was high, top one.”
“I believe if the coach can work very well on their pattern of play they will go far because they started so slowly, they came back well for the second half, overall this team can do much more.”
“As a coach, it’s good to take time out and watch other teams play especially being the coach of a state team, there are many good players around the world, so it’s good to watch out for these ones and give them a platform to grow more.”
