The Nationwide League One Division Two has brought a lot of talent to the followers of the league and one of such is 15yeara old Kehinde Afolabi who starred for Chariot of Fire FC in their 4-2 loss to Athletic Business FC in Matchday three of the NLO 2.
Kehinde Afolabi whose coach described as “obedient, attentive and listening to instructions” from his young age, opened the scoring for Chariot of Fire before errors and complacency made the team lost their lead.
“Today’s game is really shocking, I can’t really explain what happened because we were leading 1-0 in the first half. I’ll just say we were poor, very poor,” Kehinde told Sports247 after the game.
“Yes I scored a goal and I’m happy about it. My role model is Cristiano Ronaldo because I love his position as that’s where I play too. I love his attitude and his style of play. I hope to one day be like him,” he added.
The youngster also explained that he’s ready to learn as it’s one of the qualities of a good player to be disciplined.
