Lorient FC striker Terem Moffi has said that his goal against Paris Saint-Germain is the biggest of his career so far, Sports247 reports.
The 21-years old came off the bench to score in the 90th against the Parisians to complete a 3-2 comeback win for Lorient back in January.
“I think that was the biggest goal of my career, scoring against PSG, who have played in the Champions League final, against players who I admire and who play so well,” Moffi toldĀ ESPN.
“All the big names. So, yes, scoring against them in the 90th minute to win the game is the biggest goal of my career right now.”
The Nigerian continued that the biggest challenge he has faced is at the beginning of the season when he went nine games without a goal after scoring on his debut against Stade Reims.
“It was really challenging. As a young striker, when you go so many games without scoring, you start overthinking and you tend to lose confidence. But I spoke to my dad, I spoke to my family, and they kept me going.”
Moffi has 9 goals in 26 Ligue 1 appearances this season.
