Burushaga Murtala, head Coach of Dynamite Force football club has saluted the energy of his players in wake of their comeback victory against Vandrezzer FC despite trailing by a goal to nil to win 1-3 at the Agege Soccer Temple, Sports247 reports.
The Edo State-born technician couldn’t hide his excitement after the victory, he said, “I give God glory, they saith in the local palace that hard work pays. The group has put in a lot of hard work tactically with a lot of time spent, still, they gave their all in this match.”
“It takes hard work because it pays as they say alongside prayer. If you follow our result last week against Nnewi, we won 4-3 and people thought it was a fluke, they scored three goals ahead and we came from behind to score 4. They are young lads and have put in a lot of work.”
“In life, to get to the top is easy but to maintain it is very difficult, with hard work and focus, we will keep the momentum going.”
Concerning the game officials, “it was a good officiating from the match officials, and it’s not that because we won today, you see the group, Dynamite players gave their all and the referee made his decision.”
“We must salute our opponent, they have brought a new dimension to Nigerian football regardless of the way we look it. For a team to have this setup means they want to change the narrative.”
On if he can keep this group of young players together for a longer period, “I can’t keep hold of any player, if I promise so then am deceiving myself, offers must surely come and if they are good contract on the table, why not, we will let them go and we will go back to the grassroots and bring more young players who are willing to play.”
