Simy Nwankwo marked his 150th appearance for FC Crotone in last Saturday’s 4-3 Serie A defeat at Napoli.
The Nigerian striker netted twice on the occasion to take his tally to 15 league goals for the season.
In total, he has scored 61 goals for the Rossoblu along with 11 assists since joining them in 2016 from Portuguese club Gil Vicente.
“I don’t like to talk on a personal level as you know,” Simy told the club’s official website after reaching the milestone.
“150 games wearing this shirt are a source of pride for me and I am very proud of what I have done in these 5 years. Since the first day I arrived, I felt the affection and love of everyone.”
Crotone are nine points away from safety in Serie A with nine matches remaining and they face Spezia next Saturday in a must-win game.
“It will be a direct match, we have to put everything on the pitch because it’s a game that can give us a lot.” Simy added.
