Former Shooting Stars forward Timothy Idogbe has joined Lead City University Football Academy Coaching staff after being unveiled at the school Sports Complex today.
The former Bayelsa United player is the latest addition to the academy after successfully completed PASSIONDrive Football Institutes Advanced Certificate Course in Youth Football Coaching.
Idogbe, was the top scorer for the 2008/2009 National Division One season with 15 goals, the season Shooting gained promotion under ‘Head Master’ Mutiu Adepoju. He also scored another 10 goals at the 2009 FA Cup.
He was immediately unveiled and introduced to other coaching staff after putting pen to paper at the school Sports Complex.
Idogbe retired as a player a few years ago, it was understood that his eye injury which saw him under the knife at LUTH may have forced him to early retirement.
