FC One Rocket cruised to a 3-1 victory at Goodwill Akpabio International Stadium on Saturday (Mar 13) with FC One Rocket striker Abel scoring two goals in the match while Pippah scored one.
“We were unbelievable throughout the 90mins of the game, the pace, intensity and movement. It was a great team performance across that yielded a great result that was due to us. Abel, Eze, Charles Etim and Pippah were unbelievable,” FC One Rocket secretary Moses told Sports247.
The visiting team netted the first goal in about 17mins into the game in the first half. The goal was a corner kick which was converted into a goal against One Rocket.
Abel netted the first goal for FC One Rocket just by the edge of the 18 yard box using his left to score the first goal of the match for the club. The second goal came in the first half as well with Pippah stunning the defense of Gateway United.
FC One Rocket played a possessive game which in turn yielded all the goals in the game. In the second half, the FC One Rocket netted the third goal which left the opponents weak and subdued. Abel has scored a total of 4 goals this season in 5 matches.
FC One Rocket is expected to clash next with Bendel Insurance F.C. on Saturday 20th March in Benin.
