FFCN Congratulates Amaju As FIFA Executive Committee Member

The entire members and Executives of the Football Fans Club of Nigeria, FFCN have joined sports-loving Nigerians to felicitate with the President of Nigeria Football Federation, Amaju Melvin Pinnick on his victory into the Executive Committee member of Federation of International Football Association, FIFA.

The National President of the leading Supporters’ Club in Nigeria, Ambassador Oluwakemi Ogunfuwa in a congratulatory message shortly after the globally telecast poll on Friday described the Delta State-born football administrator as a daunting goal-getter.

The statement according to the National Media Officer of the group, Sunday Agunbiade reads in part:

“On behalf of the entire members and Executives of Football Fans Club of Nigeria FFCN, we rejoice and felicitate with the President of Nigeria Football Federation, Mr. Amaju Melvin Pinnick on his victory into the member of Executive Committee of Federation of International Football Association, FIFA

“I think his Victory into this very exalted position is a huge message to everyone that success is never-ending while failure is not the final. The NFF President has practically demonstrated to us that there is no limit to what we can achieve once there is will. He’s a daunting goal-getter”. CAF Award-winning Boss enthusiastically lauded

“Chronologically, the NFF Boss started as Chairman of Delta State FA and he thereafter moved to the glasshouse. He later became the First Vice President of CAF and within the spate of ten years, he’s already at the global stage”. I think this is a deserving and worthwhile target for him as an individual and collectively as a nation”

The former First Vice President of CAF defeated his opponent from Rwanda and he is now the new elected Executive committee member of FIFA

Amaju was elected into the exalted position of FIFA Executive committee after emerging victorious at the CAF election held in Morocco on Friday, polled 43 votes against 8 votes by his opponent from Rwanda

The statement however charged the new FIFA Executive member to maximize the opportunity to touch the nation and African football

With this victory, Amaju Pinnick becomes the third Nigerian after Late Mr. Orok Oyo Orok and Dr Amos Adamu to occupy the FIFA Executive committee seat.
