For a team that is the cynosure of all eyes, the team everyone hopes and wants to beat, the team with a lot of pressure to remain on top, losing their first game certainly hit a nerve and they have responded properly.
Media Officer of Collin Edwin FC, Ken Maduabuchi, who spoke to Sports247 after the first game defeat, was happy to speak to the Sports247 again after picking up a 1-0 in the second game.

“I dedicate the victory to the boys, they gave it all today and sacrificed everything to get the three points,” he said.
“They kept their head all through till the final whistle, they worked hard for this victory because after losing the last match, coming into this game the morale could have been down but it wasn’t. Everyone that played today really showed the true spirit of a gladiator and I’m grateful to the boys for giving all their best on the pitch,” Ken said.
The win means Collin Edwin has three points from six and will be looking to extend it further with a win in the next game.
