In preparation for the 2021 Nigerian Nationwide League participation, Chairman CEO Rolly Football Club and Super Master Agent of Bet9ja, Mr. Roland Inonoje along with the Secretary of the Club, Kennedy Ugbodagha, Coach, and other Club Officials, on Saturday (February 27, 2021) presented a jersey and Team tracksuit to the Deputy Governor of Edo State, Rt. Hon. Philip Shaibu in informing him of their readiness for the NLO league which kick off on the 7th March 2021.
The presentation which was conceived and arranged by Edo state foremost sports events planner, Fred Newton Erhunmwunse, with the support of Edo State FA Secretary, Elder Ajibola Emmanuel, and the Special Assistance on Sports to the Deputy Governor, Mrs. Sabina Chikere who facilitated the level playing ground for the presentation, took place at the Samuel Ogbemudia stadium, after the victory of Bendel Insurance over J.Atete FC in week three of the ongoing NNL 2021 season.
While accepting this, the Deputy Governor appreciated the club Chairman for a job well done – putting the boys together for the tasks ahead and advises that the club maintain their calmness and do the state proud, while in the league. Further, the Deputy Governor made a promise to support and collaborate with the team in their quests for success – gaining promotion, this season.
Joining the Deputy Governor in receiving the jersey presented are Chief Medica Director, UBTH, Prof. Darlington Obaseki, CEO Wesley Hotels, Prince Wesley Asoro, the immediate past commissioner of youth and Special Duties, hon. Damian Lawani, Chief Barrister Osahon Aimiuwu
Rolly FC will on the 5th of March 2021, depart Edo state for Calabar, where they are zoned to prosecute their season for qualification berth to the National League – NNL.
