The quartet of Vom Vet Rovers, FC Solid, Maichibi United of Pankshin, and Buzhu FC have all qualified to the semi-finals of Plateau State NLO preseason football tournament, organized and sponsored by the Plateau State Football Association to prepare the Plateau State representatives for the forthcoming league.
NLO Division One side, Vom Vet Rovers beat fellow division one side, Mighty Jets Feeders 3-1, but was held to a 1-1 draw by NLO division 3 side, Maichibi United to make it to the semi-finals and confront Buzhu FC, who beat Ganawuri FC 1-0, but fell 1-3 to FC Solid.
The second semi-finals will see FC Solid, NLO division 1 side, who overcame the duo of Buzhu FC and Ganawuri FC, 3-1 and 2-0 respectively, battle it out with Maichibi United, a division 3 NLO side.
The NLO organizing committee Chairman, Larry Gowon, told pressmen that the semi-final date and venue will be made known before the week runs out.
