Seeing his team demolish their African rivals, Falcons coach Randy Waldrum has described the performance as a fantastic one.
Super Falcons thrashed Equatorial Guinea 9-0 on Tuesday at the ongoing Turkish Women’s Cup.
Speaking to the Super Falcons media after the game, Waldrum disclosed that he feels fantastic.
“I feel Fantastic, the players did a fantastic job today especially early in the game, they left no questions unanswered. It is pleasing to have such performance.”
The American lauded the home-based players in the team after playing all 5 invited players for the first time.
“Good good. The League back home must be very good, their level and the way they have represented so far shows the league back home is very good.”
“I’m looking to get to watch the league in April, to see the matches pick a few talents that can be brushed up from there.” He added.
On the team, the gaffer said “the bundle of talents is evident. They have been out of action for 14 months but the players are full of quality.”
The Turkish Women’s Cup is the first tournament Randy Waldrum will coach the Super Falcons at since he became the team’s head coach.
