All twenty-six players and seven officials of the Vandrezzer FC squad have successfully undergone compulsory COVID 19 tests, in preparation for Saturday’s encounter with visiting Nilayo FC.
The tests which were carried out at Life center Medical Diagnostics, Ikeja, Lagos on Friday afternoon are in line with VFC’s policy of regular checks before every league game, to continually ascertain the status of our squad.
With results expected tomorrow evening, the team led by Acting Head coach, Madaki Alfred left for the Soccer Temple Agege (after tests completion) for their penultimate training session ahead of the match against Nilayo.
After training, Madaki maintained: “the team is in high spirits. With one more session, we’re good to go. The players have vowed to go all out on Saturday for the club and her teeming fans.
The Lions have their final training session on Friday morning ahead of Saturday’s tie.
VFC vs Nilayo comes up at Soccer Temple Agege by 16:00 GMT+1 on Saturday, February 20, 2021, and it’s LIVE on VFC TV via the Vandrezzer FC mobile app.
