Udinese of Italy defender, William Troost-Ekong and Bursaspor of Turkey full back, Shehu Abdullahi have both joined the growing array of soccer stars sending birthday greetings to the president of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Amaju Pinnick.
Though Abdullahi is still in the process of gaining full recovery from an injury that ruled him out of the Super Eagles’ recent matches in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, sports247.ng can report that he did not forget to spare time out in wishing Pinnick well on his 45th birthday.
The former Sokoto United, Kano Pillars and Anothorsis Famagusta of Cyprus defender took to social media to reveal his thoughts for Pinnick, stating that he is honoured to be part of what he tagged a professional structure the NFF boss has help put in place with the Eagles.
Similarly, Troost-Ekong, who was a teammate of Shehu’s at Bursaspor, before joining Udinese in the summer, stated that he is wishing Pinnick more good health and success in his aspirations.
Troost-Ekong posted: “Happy birthday Presido @PinnickAmaju! Wishing you more health, happiness and success! @thenff @NGSuperEagles.”
