The Chairman of the Lagos State Kickboxing Association Colonel Solebo has expressed shock over the demise of Deputy Chairman of the Association Dr. John Dodi-Mamoud.
Dr. Dodi Mamoud died recently in Lagos after a brief illness. Colonel Solebo described his death as a big loss not just to the Lagos State Kickboxing Association but also to the sports industry in Nigeria.
“I am shocked because we had great plans to grow kickboxing in Lagos”. Colonel Solebo said
“His death is a big loss not just to the Lagos Kickboxing family but also to the entire sports family in the country”.
While commiserating with his family, Colonel Solebo also advised sports administrators to imbibe the integrity of the late Kogi State Sports administrator and instructor, in the discharge of their duty and the development of sports.
The late Dr. John Dodi Mamoud until his death was the Director and Chief Instructor of the Nigeria Institute of Sports (NIS) in Lagos.
