Specifically, if he truly monitors and closely watches players’ stat, performance and productivity he would definitely invite a couple of players having a good run in the NPFL this season.
Look at Promise Damala of Wikki Tourist outstanding utility midfielder with a burst of youthfulness, Anayo Iwaula of Enyimba – exceptional mazing runs with attacking flair, Andrew Ikefe of Plateau united I rate him as the best defender in the NPFL with his calculative and timely tackles … just to mention a few.
Technically, if Rohr and his scouting network are yet to spot any talents in the NPFL I think Nigerians and stakeholders should start questioning his abilities in team building.
Progressively, the performance of teams on the continent should not be a frequent excuse for excluding home-based players …collectively teams have failed but individual players exist that are technically and tactically sound to fit in the super eagles if given a chance.
