Super Eagles Chief Coach, Gernot Rohr has expressed satisfaction with the performance of Prince Kazeem Eletu Football Club after they forced Smart City Football Club to a 1-1 draw in a friendly match played at Agege Stadium, Lagos.

Rohr, who started watching the friendly match in the second half was full of praises for both teams but noted that the performance of Prince Kazeem Eletu FC gladdened his heart.

He described the encounter as full of skills, excitement, and tactical display as both teams lived up to the standard.

Rohr, while addressing Prince Kazeem Eletu FC in their dressing room commended the players for the job well done and wished them the best of luck in their chosen career.

“I saw your game in the second half and I was impressed with your performance. I saw a wonderful game and I saw how you came back to get the equalizer. Keep it up and wish you the best of luck in your invitational tournament in Morocco.

“I congratulate your coach for the good job he has done for the club and I wish him the best of luck in his subsequent matches,” he said.

Head coach of Prince Kazeem Eletu FC; Gilles Hugon thanked Super Eagles coach, Rohr for taking his time despite his tight schedule to watch the game. He also commended his players for their outstanding performance against their opponents.

Meanwhile, Smart City took a lead in the second half when Sunkanmi Toheeb converted a penalty kick after a barren draw in the first half. Prince Kazeem Eletu began to dominate the encounter until their effort was rewarded through Akinlande Olanrewaju in the 73rd minutes to send their fans into wild jubilation.
