The Creative Championship League resumes this weekend with an action-packed matchday nine fixtures starting on Friday 13th February 2021.
The weekend fixture is opened in Ikenne as the bottom of the table Imperial FC hosts fifth-place Gbagada FC. This is the fourth time both teams will be facing off in the space of one month where they met in the quarter-finals of the TCC Cup in which Gbagada FC knocked out their opponents. The game kicks off at 4:00 pm.
The action continues at 10:00 am on Saturday where Ijebu United plays host to the top of the table Remo Stars U19 at the Dipo Dina Int’l stadium. Ijebu United are 4th on the table with 11points from 7 games while Remo remains top despite their 1-1 draw with Ijebu United in Matchday 7.
Same time, a top of the table clash between second places Valiant FC and third-placed Dino SC will hold at the Agege Stadium. Valiant are on 15 points, 4 points ahead of their opponents who have a game in hand. Both teams will also clash in the semi-finals of the TCC Cup when cup action resumes.
The last game for matchday nine sees a bottom of the table clash between sixth-placed Iganmu FC and Seventh-placed Emmydinho FC. Iganmu have 7points from 8 games while Emmydinho are with 6 points from 7 games which means they have a game in hand. Both sides will be looking to climb up the table swiftly as the second round of fixtures well and truly get underway in the TCC League.
