After losing the first leg 4-0 to Valiant FC, Iganmu FC rallied back to win the second leg 3-1 but it wasn’t enough to see them through to the semi final.
Iganmu FC’s midfielder, Adeola David said his side were disappointed with the loss but praised the manager for the job done to ensure they won this fixture.
“I feel bad about the loss. We didn’t know much about the team which contributed to our first leg loss. But after playing them then, our coach went back to study the team and he taught us about them and it made us to win,” he said.
Iganmu FC now shift focus solely to the TCC League where hey sit in 6th position with 7pts from 8 games so far.
“Our aim is to get top spot, we will try our best to make the top position,” David said.
Adeola David plays as an attacking midfielder for Iganmu FC and hopea to one day play for big teams in Europe like Real Madrid and Arsenal while also making it to the National team of Nigeria in the nearest future.
