It’s been over 100 friendly games for defending champions of the National Sports Festival football event, Team Lagos, the quality of the friendly games and the preparation can never be questioned.
Team Lagos has been in training and preparations for the festival for eight months now and they attribute the whole process to the immense support from the state government and the sports commission in Lagos state.
“We have the best preparation and I want to use this medium to thank the Lagos State Government, the Governor, Lagos State Sports Commission, and Lagos State Football Association because they are behind us. They allowed us to train very well, they gave us time and everything that we need,” said a grateful Coach Adesina of Team Lagos.
“Any team that is coming to Edo, we’re ready to beat any team and by God’s grace, festival team Lagos will make them proud, we’ll win gold in football,” he added.
Team Lagos faces Giant Brillers FC on Friday in another friendly encounter to further strengthen their preparations for the Festival holding in February.
