Rangers International of Enugu coach, Gbenga Ogunbote has disclosed that his plans for the second leg of his side’s CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round fixture against Defence Force SC of Ethiopia is to consolidate on the 2-0 win gained in Wednesday’s home fixture.
Ogunbote said he is satisfied with the win margin achieved by The Flying Antelopes at Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu and told sports247.ng that they only have to keep their heads to complement the result in Ethiopia.
He further stated that Rangers will do a thorough home work to ensure Defence Force do not wipe out The Coal City side’s two-goal lead in the second leg, billed for next Wednesday in Addis Ababa.
Ogunbote said: “We are happy that we won in Enugu, even if it is only 2-0. Consolidating on the first leg result will now be our target next week when we play away in the second leg.”
