Assistant Coach of Heartland Fc, Ezekiel Onyegule has blamed fatigue and carelessness from his players for their 1-2 home loss to Nasarawa United on Sunday.
The Nazi Billionaires were defeated 1-2 at home in their match Day two of the 2020/2021 NPFL season to make it losses in two games, after losing their Match Day One fixture 3-2 away at Katsina United.
Speaking with Sports 247 after his side’s loss, Ezekiel Onyegule blamed fatigue and carelessness on the part of his players for their loss to the Northern-based side. He also admitted that his team is still a work in progress, but also blamed lack of training for his team’s loss as well.
“Heartland is still a work in progress. We lose at home, we also have equal opportunity to get away point, which we believe we can”.
“The Loss is as a result of fatigue and carelessness, that was why we lost at home. We came back from Katsina, and the pitch here is still under construction and rehabilitation and we had to get a day training before the game, which was a huge factor for the loss here today”, he admitted.
