Magecco Sports World Limited has concluded all arrangements to organize Mageeco Street Soccer Talents Hunt which commences 8, January 2021 at Ilepako playground, Oke-Koto, Agege, Lagos.
The match coordinator, Prince Ayobamidele Agama said the talents hunt would feature players from U-10, 13 and 15 categories.
The essence of the talents hunt according to Agama is to discover young lads that would feature for Mageeco Football Academy in the nearest future.
“We want to start a new year with talents hunts so that we can discover fresh talents that would be invited to Mageeco Academy. We need to engage the streets in Agege to come with their footballers and see if we can get better players for our academy. It is going to be an interesting programme because a lot of streets have shown interest in our programme,” he said.
Asked if other streets or team can come from outside Agege, Agama said teams from outside that are interested would allow to take part in the talent hunt.
He said the programme was designed to discover raw talents and ensure that those talents are properly nurtured and mentored to stardom.
