Kwara State Football Association has sympathized with Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) A. U Mustapha and his family over the death of their mother, Alhaja Hassanat Alarape Mustapha who passed on in the early hours of today.
In a statement on Thursday by the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the Chairman of the FA, Bolaji Lawal said Malam Idris Musa Abdullahi urged SAN A.U Mustapha, his family and all associates of late Alhaja Alarape to find strength in her good works.
According to the statement, Malam Idris noted that her testimony of reverence for Almighty Allah and service to humanity have continued to resonate.
He also condoled with the pioneer FA chairman, Alhaji Usman Mustapha (Wali of Ilorin), Hon. Moshood Mustapha, Alh. Lukman Mustapha, the grandchildren of the late alhaja and members of the Ilorin Emirate, saying they would miss her counsel and guidance, garnered from years of working hard to raise a disciplined and focused family.
Malam Musa added that the FA established a robust relationship with the family who he regarded as kind, generous and football enthusiasts which was evident when SAN A.U Mustapha assisted & facilitated the Commissioning of Kwara FA Secretariat.
“Our thoughts are with the family at this trying period, we pray that Allah (SWT) would comfort them and grant the soul of the departed Aljanah Firdaus”, the statement read.
