President of the Nigeria Cricket Federation, Professor Adams Yahaya has revealed that the development seminar organised for coaches and umpires to abreast them on the new changes in the rule of cricket will be an annual event henceforth.
According to Yahaya, he will make sure the constitution of the federation will back the policy.
“The rules of the game has gone scientific and digital. It is changing with each passing time. The actors and players are adjusting to the trend,” he said to Sports247.ng.
“It is our duty to put our coaches and umpires abreast on the new changes and rules.”
“The Federation is committed to improving the game, we will definitely back the policy.”
“Funds will be earmark for the event beginning from next year so that there wouldn’t be any issue organizing it.”
“The Cricket Federation just organized a development seminar for coaches and umpires in Abuja over the weekend. It was a successful one and they learnt a lot from the exercise,” he concluded.
