Lithuanian Clubside, FK Kauno has announced the signing of Emmanuel Ugbo from Kwara Football Academy on a 3-Year deal, the club said on its Twitter.
“We are pleased to announce the transfer of Emmanuel Ugbo from Kwara Football Academy to Lithuania A Lyga Side, FK Kauno Zalgiris on a 3-year deal”.
Ugbo Emmanuel arrived in Lithuania last week to team up with the Kaunas-based Side ahead of the new Lithuania league season in January.
The Amazing Defensive Midfielder was spotted at the Academy earlier in January during the Kwara Street Soccer Scouting tournament by the Head Coach of Kauno Zalgiris, Mr. Rokas Garastas and Chairman Mr Eimantas PuraĆ where he emerged as the Most valuable player at the tournament.
Emmanuel Ugbo arrived Kwara Football Academy as a 14-year Old Senior Secondary one Student and passed through all the developmental cadre of the Academy. He also spent 4 years on developmental loan with Abubakar Bukola Saraki Ilorin FC, where he featured in the Nigerian Professional Football league in the 2017 league season.
He was part of the Academy’s Golden generation school boys that won the National Secondary School Shell Cup at the Teslim Balogun Stadium Lagos in 2012.
